Police officer adopts German Shepherd he found during trespassing call

Officer Daniel Caramello, of the Rancho Cordova Police Department in California, recently responded to a transpassing call from a local business and acquired a loyal friend as a result.

Caramello discovered Ronin, a black German Shepherd, who turned out to be lost. Caramello turned to the local SPCA to see if he had a microchip or an owner looking for him. But the officer couldn’t find anyone and the dog remained alone.

But nobody wanted to adopt this sweet dog with such a perfect temperament and behavior. Caramello made up his mind and adopted the dog. The officer brought Ronin home where they were welcomed by Caramello’s 9-year-old daughter.

Though the girl was afraid of dogs she began step by step to get closer to the dog and soon made friends with him.
